Instead of strident arguments about the primacy of the singular whole over the expressionism of the assembled multiple, (of one position having rectitude over the other), new and strange relationships between the two are being conceived. Operating as a kind of productive oxymoron or alchemy. I seek to understand and exploit the tension between part and whole, or between various wholes in non-hierarchical and strange relationship.
